Roseberry Garden Makeover

Well, we finally put in the 6 x 6 inches cedar posts to border the mulch in the garden. I’m so happy that the mulch has borders and won’t be washed off into the streets when it rains. James defined “power saw” by manually cutting 6 inch x 6 inch cedar posts to the ideal length. Rock climbers rock! ('Nuff said)

Community Gardening Mission

The Carlington Community Garden located at 900 Merivale will be close this season to give way to a Senior Community Housing. That is finale of a 22 year old garden in Ottawa, consisting of at least 100 resident gardeners. Carlington affordable housing plan would uproot local garden.
